About Peasant And Raven
Peasant and Raven is the collaborative vision of husband and wife team, Jeffrey Foster Thomas and Becky M Thomas.
Nestled in the Blue Ridge mountains of East Tennessee, Peasant and Raven Studio hosts one on one classes where students learn drawing and painting skills that become the foundations for each new work of art they create, from doodles to finished oil paintings.

Jeffrey Thomas
Jeffrey has been creating beautiful portraits of pets, people and properties since 1980. He uses a variety of mediums; graphite, ink, watercolor and color pencil. He specializes in all things equestrian having spent many years breeding, training and exhibiting Arabian horses. His signature medium, Neo-Fresco often features equine themes. These can be seen in galleries in Tryon, NC, Tryon Painters and Sculptors and Oberón Studio Gallery. Jeffrey is also available as a book illustrator working in the pen and wash and graphite mediums.
Becky Thomas
Becky creates expressive impressionistic oil paintings featuring rich still life scenes, sweeping landscapes featuring local places of interest and beautiful lifelike portraits of beloved pets as well as farmsteads and property portraits to be cherished for generations to come. Becky’s work can be seen in Tryon Painters and Sculptors Gallery and Oberon Studio Gallery in Tryon, NC.
